Disruptive HR Technologies, Dayforce & The HCM Technology EvolutionIn this Ceridian HRIS discussion with Larry Dunivan, SVP of Products & Technology for Ceridian Corporation, we draw upon Larry’s 25 years in the Human Capital Management (HCM) technology industry to analyze the disruptive technologies that have most impacted the HR and payroll software industry. As an HCM company that has been in business for over half a century and counts over 100,000 customers, we drill down on Ceridian’s customer market to identify the company’s sweet spot (e.g. businesses with 1,000-15,000 employees) and how that target market is changing with new HR technologies. For example, we explore Dayforce HCM, Ceridian’s cloud HCM software and payroll solution, and how this HR application adds an evolutional value for the existing customer base, and will position Ceridian to acquire new customers with its cloud and Software as a Service (SaaS) workforce management and core HR/payroll software, or essentially what the company calls Time & Pay. We also explore how Ceridian HR technologies are leveraging mobile HR, with capabilities such as shift bidding/exchanging, punch in/punch-out, flexible spending account administration, and how these mobile HR capabilities are driving benefits such as user adoption.
